Welcome! Thank you for coming to see what Baby Moments Of Bliss is all about.

My name is Shae Lerner,  I was born, raised and lived all over California before deciding to settle down in Spartanburg, South Carolina. I am married to a wonderful man and we have two beautiful boys. We chose to relocate to SC so we could fulfill our dream of owning a home on property that our boys can enjoy! My interests are sewing, crafts, going for walks with my family, and of course anything having to do with BIRTH and BABIES!!!

I have many years of experience working with parents but more specifically, mothers. I started as a nanny in 2003,  specializing in the care of infants and multiples.   I eventually wanted to know more about how to help parents, not just with their children but how to help parents with the newborn phase of life.  

In 2009 I trained to become a postpartum doula.  I have always been a birth junkie so I trained to become a birth doula in 2013 and started volunteering at SF General hospital in their Doula program which provided birth and postpartum support to the families delivering there. In 2014 I got trained in Rebozo techniques with Gena Kirby. In 2019 I became trained in Comforting Touch for Doulas by Yiska Obadia and in 2020 I attended a Spinning Babies workshop.

I have a Bachelors degree in Sociology: Of the Family and an Associates degree in Child Development. 

I Just completed my first Surrogacy Journey in 2022 and I am heading into my second Surrogacy Journey in 2024!

In 2023 I finally put all of my work into one organization and received my Birth Doula Certification from Birth Arts International.

I am currently providing Birth and Postpartum Doula Support and Placenta Encapsulation Services.
